"My photo does not do the label justice, which is just adorable (but slightly frightening, all the more so since it was purchased as a not-so-subtle hint about my tendency to arrive home late for dinner). The Merlot itself was very fine. This is a table wine, to be sure. However, it’s good enough to sip by itself, perhaps in the laundry room in a quiet moment (as the label exhorts you to do). The wine is pleasant, balanced, and not overly fruity or dry. It’s got enough character to back up the label, making it more than a pretty face."
